La Bodega Imports (the most colourful store on Portage Ave.) features Artisan crafted, Mexican inspired decor for your home and garden.

Located across Portage Ave. from De Luca’s, just west of downtown Winnipeg, it is easy to recognize the store because of the clay chimineas (fire pits) and painted terracotta pots along with colourful mirrored gazing balls displayed in the parking lot.

Every item in the store is handcrafted by an Artisan in Mexico.

The owner deals as directly as possible with the Artisans who actually make the products ensuring quality and safety in their production.

There is a huge and colourful selection of handcrafted products from talavera (pottery) serving trays, salsa dishes, bowls and platters to large chimineas (fire pits) to tiny glass angels, glass drops or hearts for your window or hand painted calaveras (skulls) for the Day of the Dead to wonderful colourful planters for your home or garden.

All are personally selected and shipped directly to our store. You won’t find it anywhere else.

On any given day, the store changes … new colours or art work or shapes or simply something that may not have caught your eye before.
